Scout Monument

A few weeks ago Alex thought it would be a great idea for our family to take a hike to Scout Monument. It is a monument on top of a very large hill here in Montpelier. It was steep and rocky at the beginning of the hike and so Griffin and I wimped out, but Alex took the other four kids and made the hike. It took them about 3 hours and they were all exhausted by the end (including the dogs).

This is the town without any zooming. Can you find our house?

Spaghetti

One night while we were eating dinner Alex decided to try putting a spaghetti noodle up his nose and out his mouth. Luckily he wasn't succesful but Fenton sure thought it was fun to try.

July 4th

For the 4th of July we went and spent the weekend in Rockland. We watched Grandma Moss in a play on Friday night and then went to all of the fun things that Rockland did at the park on Saturday. The kids got to gather candy dropped by an airplane, chase pigs and chickens and have foot races. Dalton (those are his arms as he crossed the finish line)

Alder Reunion 2010

Every few years my family gets together with my Uncle Max's family for an Alder Reunion. We hold it at Bear Lake because it is a middle point for both families to travel. We get to see cousins that we only see at these reunions and it is a lot of fun. This year we spent 2 days at the beach and all of the kids had a blast. All the kids enjoying the Lake

Pirates

This was Ethan's 2nd year of T-Ball and he really enjoyed playing this year. His team was called the Pirates and they had a great coach. Ethan is really starting to catch on to the game of baseball and how it is supposed to be played (last year he just played in the dirt).

Martin's Cove

Alex and Anika went on a trip to Martin's Cove with the youth from our ward. They had a great time together and now Anika can say that she got to go on a camp-out with Dad.

Anika's Birthday

Anika's Birthday was on June 9th. Grandma Moss, Aunt Dawn, Lucia, Oscar, Aunt Kami and Grandma's friend Kathy all came to help us celebrate. We had her favorite dinner -Spaghetti- and then she got to open her presents. She was very excited and had a great time serving everyone her cake and ice cream. Happy 5th Birthday Anika!! Waiting to open her presents
