Bike Riding

The first week in June Alex decided to take the boys for a bike ride. We drove as far up Paris Canyon as we could and then Anika, Fenton, Griffin and I drove the van down and Alex, Dalton and Ethan rode their bikes. I thought this was such a cute picture of the GUYS.
Fenton really wanted to ride his bike to but he is not good enough yet for dirt roads.

Playing Catch-up

The month of June was a very busy one for the Moss Family so I haven't had much time to blog. Now that life has slowed down a little bit I will try to get caught-up. The next few posts may be old news to some of you so forgive me if you have already seen this stuff.

Fossil Butte

For Memorial Day after fishing we went to Fossil Butte National Monument. It is only an hours drive from us but we have never been. There are a lot of fossils in the museum to look at and if you go on the weekend you can help them dig for the fossils. The kids standing in front of some of the fossils that have been found there

Yesterday for Memorial Day we went fishing out at the Bird Refuge.

Bird Refuge

On Sunday we went for a drive out to the bird refuge. We love to go out there this time of year and see all of the baby birds. We also get to see lots of skunks. On our trip Sunday we saw 5 live skunks and 3 dead ones. Sadly I didn't get a picture of any of them. We did get some pretty good pictures of the birds and their babies. I don't know what all of the birds are but I wish I did. Maybe one of these days I will do my research so that I know what I am looking at. Geese with their gooslings

Griffin and Skunk

Skunk and Griffin are the best of buds. Griffin loves to pull skunk's hair and Skunk loves to cuddle with Griffin. I have to be careful because Skunk LOVES to take naps with Griffin in his bed. I can't believe how patient Skunk is with Griffin. He will sit on Griffin's lap and just let him pull on his hair. It is really fun to watch and makes for some cute pictures.
