This last Saturday our town had a Winter Festival. There was a chili cook-off and Ice and Snow sculpting. There wasn't a lot of participation but our family went and made a snow sculpture. It started out as a deer with real antlers and everything but we decided that it was just to bulky for a deer and took the antlers off and made it a bear. It apparently wasn't to good because lots of people thought it was a dog but we won 2nd prize. The kids had lots of fun playing in the 7 inches of new snow we had just gotten that morning and Alex is already thinking of new ideas for next years sculpture. Fenton wanted to sit on the bear all of the time but we took him off to give the other kids a chance to sit on it and that is why he has the sad face in the second picture. I thought it was really cute so I put it on. In the third picture I was quite impressed with my picture taking abilities. Can you see the snowball that Dalton was throwing?
