Nauvoo Day #3

The Mansion House
There is a family story about one of Alex's ancestors singing Chistmas carols to Joseph Smith and his family while they were staying here.

The kids really enjoyed learning about things that they would have been able to buy in a
store in Old Nauvoo.
 
They also learned about how the pioneers got their honey.
 
 
This is the home were my Great Great Grandfather Orsen Spencer lived.
 
This is a jail that was built using stone from the original Nauvoo Temple.
